This is my good friend Nishelle. She enlisted me to do her makeup for a photo shoot that she was doing this past Sunday. I can't wait until I get the photographers pics back!! I just wanted to share some pics with you all, and let you know what was used.

The Latest with me...

OMG I have been waaaaaaaaaaaaay too busy!! I created this site/blog with the intention of keeping my subscribers/followers up to date with me, and man have I failed!! I promise I'm going to do better with this because I love to keep you all abreast with the goings on in the beauty/fashion world as well as with me. The beginning of this month, I had the pleasure to work with an amazing group of women known as the Body Armor Dance team. These young ladies are the sexy part of the DC Armor Professional Football Team, and man do they bring it! The ladies were extra sweet and their personalities made it easy for me to beautify them. I was booked by one of the dancers named Shawni who is one of my Clinique customers. I'm so glad to be working with them, they are a bunch of sweethearts and they give me a chance to do what I love to do! And the running mate is!!!

Okay so I'm surfing the net after a long day of school shopping for my lil' man and I found out that Barack Obama named Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware as his vice presidential running mate. Whew, the wait is over folks! Are you ready for change? I sure am...please, I urge you ...register to vote and actually show UP! People think that their votes don't make a difference, guess what? They DO!! So go ahead, register, and VOTE this coming election, we've been going through crazy BS long enough....

On the prowl!

Have you EVER been attracted to a dude that was soo frickin fine that you can't think??? Me neither, until now! *deeep sigghhh* Man, this guy lights my fiyaaaaah AND desire!! lol! There's something about him that just DOES it for me! He's sooo funny, cute, TALL (a plus) and ummmm yea, sexy as hell! Tenderoni has entered the building, and I don't plan on him leaving ANYtime soon! If you all have followed any of my videos, you KNOW that I had a relationship about two months ago, but that didn't work out....(NEXT!) sooo..enter Tenderoni, who is just what the doctor ordered, we are great friends, there are no rules, and I'm having a BLAST!! Oh and get this, he bought me ROSES yesterday...Ha! I was super surprised, cuz we aren't on that type of level, but the gesture was cute and they roses are beautiful (they're yellow in case you're wondering). We spend a LOT of time together, and he keeps me laughing and smiling. I'm really glad to have met him, he's great company and we enjoy each other...a LOT. ;) Oh....I failed to mention, he's 10 years younger than me....Aaliyah (RIP) said it best..."Age aint' nuthin' but a number, throwin DOWN ain't nuthin but a thang..." ...Yea I know, I'm a cougar, oh well....*Raaaaaaaaaawwrrrrrrr!* (my sad attempt to roar)...

Back to School!!

Okay, so my (almost) 13 year old is heading to the 8th grade....WOW! I simply can NOT believe how the time has passed!!! I have been truly blessed with my son, he's no angel... but during this summer, he has proved to me that he CAN be responsible young man, and can be trusted. There was a time where I was sooo frustrated with his actions, decisions, and almost ANYthing that he did...so to curb my frustrations I took it to God...I was at my wits end, and almost going crazy....cuz see I'm raising a MAN, a future member of society, and I am DETERMINED to make sure he's raised in a way that is God-fearing, positive, loving, encouraging, developmental, and HELPful. A LOT of teens/young men don't have that, which is why some of them have steered the wrong way...our children's fate lies in our hands, God has given us the tools to use to raise our children, it's up to US to use them and use them in the way that HE sees fit! No, my son is in NO way perfect, but he has surely progressed during this summer vacation, and I am soo happy with the results that I get to witness every day....raising a son alone is tough, his dad is present , but not as present as he should be (See Jill Scott's "I Need You"), but with God leading me in the path that he has cleared, I'm, WE'RE DESTINED to suceed!!

Maaaaaaaaaaaaan I can not WAIT til Mr. O (Obama) announces who his running mate will be...I've heard that you could register to receive a text message with the announcement before it aired on TV or radio...that is soo cool! Whomever he chooses I'm sure he's thought long and hard about it, cuz this person is gonna be his right hand man...(or woman????) lol! What are your thoughts?? Is it just me or does it feel like we're waiting for Santa at Christmas??
